In case you aren't already aware, Luck of the Draw is the name of the buff you get for grouping with random people using Dungeon Finder. It currently provides a 5% buff to damage, healing, and health if you have at least one random player in your group. With patch 4.0.6, we are increasing this buff to 5% damage, healing, and health per random player, up to a maximum of 15%.

In the process of working on this change we actually discovered that the Luck of the Draw buff has not been working in Cataclysm at all, save for a few specific dungeons. This means that the difficulty in almost all normal and Heroic dungeons for those using the Dungeon Finder tool was higher than expected. Still, with that issue corrected in 4.0.6, we feel the bump up to 15% for three or more random players found through the Dungeon Finder is a necessary change.

An apparent last-minute bug which was not found on the PTR before the patch was finalised has caused the client and server to disagree on the way haste affects resource generation.

This bug will manifest itself in the UI showing a player they have enough resources to use an ability, but the server correctly prevents it as they in fact do not. A death knight for example might see a rune light up that isn’t actually available so when they use the ability, it won’t fire. A rogue may think they have enough energy to use Sinister Strike, but they can’t actually afford it so when they push the button, they will get an error. This bug could affect rogues, death knights, hunters and Feral druids, because these characters all gain more resources from haste. It will also affect buffs that affect attack speed, such as Slice and Dice, Windfury, Icy Talons, and Hunting Party, but also attack speed lowering effects like Thunder Clap. We're currently working on a fix.

Mit 4.0.1 (ICC Zeiten) war es ja so, dass DOTs jeden Tick den Damage und Haste Effect aktuallisiert haben. Aktuell (Stand 4.0.6) gibt es wieder Reports, dass Haste & SpellDamage nur beim Cast aktualisiert werden und dann die gesamte Laufzeit vom DOT aktiv bleiben.

Wie das mit Spells aussieht, die durch Talente verlängert werden, kann ich nicht sagen. Auf jeden Fall scheint sich ein erneuter Test am Dummy zu lohnen wenn mans genau wissen will und wenn es für die Spielweise entscheidend ist.

Beim Shamy lohnt sichs bei nem 20 Sek Clicky den FS DOT kurz vor Ablauf des Clicky nochmal zu refreshen. Damit kann man die fetten Haste/Damage Buffs für FS fast doppelt so lange nutzen.

Battlegrounds
Demolishers were respawning too quickly in Strand of the Ancients. They are now on a 20-second spawn timer.

Death Knight (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Death knight Ghouls under the effects of Dark Transformation can no longer cast Gnaw while it's on cooldown.

Hunter (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Aimed Shot damage has been decreased to approximately 160% weapon damage (at level 80+), down from 200%.
Aspect of the Hawk now provides around an additional 2000 attack power at level 85.

Paladin (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Light of Dawn no longer heals targets outside the paladin's party or raid. It correctly heals up to 5 targets in the paladin's raid.

Priest (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Body and Soul no longer reduces the mana cost of Power Word: Shield (the hotfix made on February 16 to provide this additional benefit has been reverted).
Rapture now returns 2/5/7% of maximum mana when Power Word: Shield is consumed, up from 2/4/6%.

Warlock (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Instant-cast Shadowbolts from Shadow Trance (both the talent and Glyph of Corruption versions) should no longer consume charges of Backdraft if both procs are available. Shadow Trance will always take priority and be consumed first when Backdraft is active. Subsequent Shadowbolts will consume Backdraft stacks.

Warrior (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)
Two-Handed Weapon Specialization (Arms passive) now gives 20% bonus damage with two-handed weapons, up from 10%.
mal eben 10% mehr arms-krieger-schaden, mal eben 2k mehr ap fuer hunter ...

hmm in dem Licht des steten Hotfix hin und her kriegt der Satz vom Herrn Ghostcrawler eine ganz neue Richtung und ist auf einmal recht positiv und angenehm ... "Shamans at 85 are fine. " ..-D

Ich hoff das sie den Verstärker weiterhin in Frieden lassen und dem ganzen bösen Rest mit Buffs Nerf Buff Nerf Buff Nerf das Leben bereichern ..-D
