Interview with Greg Street, AKA Ghostcrawler
Lore: A while back it was mentioned that there would be a legendary in patch 4.3. A lot of us have been kind of expecting an agility one-hander. Anything new on that front?
GS: Yes, you're right! It is " a pair " of agility one-handers, and they are, in fact, daggers, and they are Rogue-only.
L: Will we be seeing epic gems in 4.3?
GS: Great question, and yes, you will! The way we're hoping to set it up, and we kind of have this working but things could change before we go live, is when you kill a boss on normal or heroic mode, each player gets a geode, and when they open the geode there's a chance they may find an epic gem inside. If not, it'll have blue gems or something like that.
GS: Deathwing is basically two bosses in this raid. He's boss number 7 and boss number 8. Boss number 7 is the fight where you fight on his back, so you're having to deal with him, and he's obviously there in the fight, but he's not sitting around breathing fire on you or things like that. Boss 8 is the final showdown with Deathwing, and this fight as well has many many phases. The first thing you do is fight one of his... so, back up a little bit. At this point, Deathwing is definitely hurting a little bit. His armor is falling off, all the raw corruption inside is kind of exploding out of him, and he's now something halfway between a dragon and an old god minion. He's kind of... we call him “C'thulhu Deathwing” at this point.
So you're fighting like, a tentacle, and then once the tentacle is down you fly kind of Skywall raid-style to a next island, and now you're fighting one of his claws, and then you move to another one and you're beating down a wing. And he's attacking you this whole time; he's spitting fire at you, he's breathing, he's got this big scorpion tail that he's jabbing you with, but he's so large that you're just knocking down a piece at a time until finally you've beaten every single part of him, if you're awesome enough to do that, and defeated him once and for all.
L: Okay, so total of 8 encounters in 4.3.
GS: Yeah. The first several bosses are around Wyrmrest Temple. At this point, all of Deathwing's forces, from the old god minions to the Twilight Hammer, to the Twilight and Black Dragons, are all attacking Wyrmrest, and the players are on a strike team to kind of... this giant elemental comes lumbering across the landscape and you guys gotta take him out before he breaks Wyrmrest down. And you do a little bit of that for a while. Then, the forces actually get to Wyrmrest itself, and... I believe boss 5 is a gigantic Twilight Dragon that's flying around the top of Wyrmrest breathing on you while the players are defending the Dragon Aspects and trying to kill this dragon.
From there you get onto a gunship and are chasing Deathwing, and the High General, the commander of all the military forces of the Twilight's Hammer, comes down Rend and Gyth style and leaps off his drake to fight you on the gunship. And then you go on to the Deathwing fight, and then you go on to the Maelstrom fight.

Blood
- Death Strike[/url] now refunds health even if the attack misses or is parried/dodged.
- Veteran of the Third War[/url] now also reduces the cooldown of Outbreak by 30 sec.
- Abomination's Might[/url] now increases melee attack power by 10/20%, up from 5/10%. still increases ranged attack power by 5/10%.
- Blade Barrier[/url] has been revamped and is simpler - You take 2/4/6% less damage from all sources.
- Bone Shield[/url] now has 6 charges.
Frost
- Howling Blast[/url] now scales from 44% and 22% of Attack Power, down from 48% and 24% of AP.
Restoration
- Wild Growth[/url] healing value has been reduced by 20%.
Survival
- Cobra Shot[/url] now has a 2 sec cast time, up from 1.5 sec.
- Aimed Shot[/url] now has a 2.9 sec cast time, up from 2.4 sec.
- Kill Shot[/url] now scales from 45% of Ranged Attack Power, up from 30%.
- Chimera Shot[/url] now causes Nature damage. (Tooltip clarification)
- Trueshot Aura[/url] now increases melee attack power by 20% and ranged attack power by 10%.
Retribution
- Blessing of Might now increases attack power by 20%.
- Divine Plea now grants a charge of Holy Power.
- Holy Radiance has been revamped - Imbues a friendly target with radiant energy, healing that target and all party or raid members within 10 yards for 50 to 61 and another 683 every 1 sec for 3 sec and grants a charge of Holy Power. 40 yd range, 40% of base mana, 3 sec cast
- Seal of Insight no longer restores the paladin's mana.
- Clarity of Purpose now also affects Holy Radiance.
- Infusion of Light now also affects Holy Radiance.
- Judgements of the Pure now also increases your mana regeneration from Spirit while in combat by 10/20/30%.
- Light of Dawn now heals up to 6 targets, up from 5.
- Paragon of Virtue now reduces the cooldown of Divine Protection by 15/30 sec, up from 10/20 sec.
- Speed of Light no longer reduces the cooldown of Holy Radiance.
- Tower of Radiance got an extra effect - In addition, casting Holy Radiance will always generate one charge of Holy Power.
Holy
- Divine Hymn now heals up to 5 targets, up from 3. Maximum of 20 heals, up from 12.
- State of Mind has been replaced with Heavenly Voice Increases the healing done by your Divine Hymn spell by 50/100%, and reduces the cooldown by 2.5/5 minutes.
- Atonement now affect a friendly target within 100 yards, up from 15.
Combat
- Backstab damage has been reduced by 50%. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)
- Ambush damage has been reduced by 48%. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)
- Mutilate now deals 179% weapon damage, up from 150%. Damage no longer increased against poisoned targets.
Elemental
- Elemental Fury now removes the cooldown from your Chain Lightning spell.
- Thunderstorm now also reduces the enemies movement speed by 40% for 5 sec.
- Wind Shear now has a 25 sec cooldown, up from 6 sec.
- Call of Flame no longer increase the duration of Flame Shock on Fire Nova damage.
- Lava Flows now increases critical strike damage bonus of Lava Burst by 8/16%, up from 6/12%.
- Reverberation now reduces the cooldown of Wind Shear by 10/20 sec.
- Flametongue Weapon now increases magical damage done by 5%, instead of increasing spell damage by 747.
- Lava Lash now deals 260% weapon damage, up from 200%.
- Mental Quickness has been slightly revamped - Your spell power is now equal to 55% of your attack power, and you no longer benefit from other sources of spell power. Also, your instant beneficial, damaging, and totem spells cost 75% less mana.
- Stormstrike no longer increases Nature damage against the target. Now grants you an additional 25% chance to critically strike that enemy with your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Lightning Shield, and Earth Shock spells for 15 sec.
- Improved Lava Lash now increases the damage of Lava Lash by 10% for each application of Searing Flames, now also causes your Lava Lash to spread your Flame Shock from the target to up to four enemies within 12 yards.
- Unleashed Rage now increases melee attack power by 20% and ranged attack power by 10%.
- Ancestral Healing got an extra effect - heals you cast increase allies' maximum health by 10% of the amount healed, up to a maximum of 10% of their health.
- Cleansing Waters - The heal effect can only occur once every 6 seconds.
- Riptide healing effect has been increased by 50%, from 3725 to 5585.
Fury
- Enrage now gives a physical damage bonus.
- Shattering Throw no longer scales from Attack Power. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)
- Throw now has a 0.5 sec cast time. (This change is NOT in the official notes and could be a parsing error)

Beim Shammy wird ne Menge reändert.
Beim Ele wird AE mal wieder neu (3. Patch in Folge). Bis 3 Targets ist nun wohl Chain Lightning "gut" und darüber wirds wieder richtig mau.
Erdbeben macht zwar 75% mehr Damage aber ist damit immernoch ein Witz. Leider verlängert Fire Nova nicht mehr die Flame Shocks und die Ramp Up Phase bleibt für Ele auch weiterhin bestehen.
Mein Ele-Fazit:
Bis 3 Targets isses so Lala bei ca 120% SingleTarget DPS, was in ner 3-Target Situation eigentlich auch der Witz ist. Jede DOT-Klasse bekommt da das müde Lächeln.
Über 3 Targets wirds wieder richtig unlustig. Hier haben wir weiterhin die existente RampUp-Phase von 15-20 Sekunden und nach 4 Targets (20 Sekunden) ist die Cap erreicht. Bis die Flameshocks verteilt sind, müssen AE-Adds lange tot sein. Praktisch gibts kaum AE-Phase wo länger wie 15 Sekunden gebombt wird.
Hinzu kommt erneutes Target Gefuddel über die gesamte AE-Phase durch den Call of Flame Nerf.
Beim Enhancer wirds durch Improved Lava Lash nun endlich besser und Fire Nova hat damit auch richtig Bumms ab AE Start. Ich frag mich nur warum der Ele nen 31-Punkter Talent bekommt was 60% Mana kostet und im Vergleich dazu ein echter Krüppel-AE ist.

Da muss aber noch ne Menge passieren wenn wir mit EarthQuake + CL unseren AE machen sollen. Das alte 4.0 Thema mit dem OOM nach 5-6 EarthQuake ist auch wieder aktuell durch diesen Patch. Jeder kann sich sicher noch gut an Magmaw erinnern wo den Eles nach 2-3 AE Phasen das Mana aus ging. Ich hab jetzt etwas mehr Mana aber das reicht nichmal für nen weiteren EQ (60% Base Mana pro Cast)Elemental’s AE damage was still not competitive with the rotations of other DPS specs, so we buffed Earthquake and removed the cooldown on Chain Lightning. These two spells should be the bulk of Elemental’s AE DPS, while spreading Flame Shocks should be an Enhancement mechanic (see below).

3) Go back to to YOUR GAME ACCOUNTS
4) Under all your accounts you should now have add WoW starter World of Warcraft®

5) Go to www.worldofwarcraft.com/charcopy/character-copy.html
5.A) if it says "There are no World of Warcraft Game Licenses attached to this Battle.Net Account" then you did not add the usa starter accont so try reading 1-5 agean.

WOW ist nun 7 Jahre alt und ich bekomm nen neuen Spelleffekt für den Lighning Bolt zum Geburtstag. Über ne gefixte Totem AI hätte ich mich mehr gefreut, vermutlich hat das in den 7 Jahren nur noch nie Einer erwähnt.
Ich sollte aber ned undankbar sein, hätte noch schlimmer kommen können.
