What I would say is… Be patient.
This is a living, breathing world and a living, breathing story that is continuing to progress.
A game, especially WoW, it isn't like a book where you can just devour it and get the satisfaction of learning and understanding the whole of it, right?
When she gave the order to burn the tree down, and it was followed, the Horde has now entered the same boat as Sylvanas. She has not only crushed the Horde's hopes for a lasting peace without her, but she has now put them in the same boat as her. In one move, Sylvanas intertwined the Horde's fate with her own. If she dies, they go down with her. The blood is on their hands now as well, and negotiations are over. Sylvanas has now placed the Horde under the thumb of it's most famous war cry: Victory or death.
